Transport Museum
With a dock opposite the entrance at Millennium Place the Coventry Transport Museum is a must for the transport enthusiast, proudly housing the largest publicly owned collection of British vehicles on the planet! The museum also boasts an award-winning coffee house, picnic areas throughout and an obligatory gift shop!
Herbert Museum
A short cycle takes you to our Earl Street dock where you will find the Herbert Museum at your feet. Inside is a treasure trove of Coventry’s history, art and culture for you to dive into. Whether you want discover more on the legend of Lady Godiva, delve into the archives or explore Coventry’s history from the 1500s onwards, it’s all there.
Cathedral
A stone’s throw from the Herbert you’ll find the Cathedral. It has to be seen to be believed – it’s a place where old meets new. The ruined Cathedral, destroyed in the Coventry Blitz in WW2, stands proudly alongside the iconic modern architecture of the new Cathedral. Take a deep breath and breathe it in before you hop back on you bike in search of refreshment.
War Memorial Park
A short cycle from the town centre takes you to War Memorial Park, the largest park in Coventry. If you need a break dock the bike at the Kenilworth Road ‘park and ride’ carpark and visit one of the park’s cafes to enjoy a light snack. Otherwise a cycle around here will definitely relax and restore any tired minds.
Fargo Village
Travel to Far Gosford Street and you’ll find Fargo Village; a creative hub which is home to over 40 independent businesses, including artisan food outlets, crafts, boutiques, a craft brewery and even a barbershop.
Belgrade Theatre
Admire the mural of acclaimed actor Ira Aldridge as you arrive at our Belgrade Plaza docking station. Aldridge made history in 1828 by becoming the first Black theatre manager in Coventry and from this station you will find Coventry’s Belgrade theatre. The theatre hosts a diverse programme of productions from touring musicals to critically acclaimed plays and at Christmas of course there is always a traditional pantomime to enjoy! It is also home to a brand-new stylish café and bar which could be just what the doctor ordered for any weary riders.
Generators bar
After a busy day seeing the sights you can unwind and enjoy aerial views from the Telegraph Hotel’s seasonal rooftop bar, Generators. Sip on a cocktail and enjoy Mediterranean tapas as you watch the sun go down over Belgrade Plaza. Bliss.
