Emma ditches car in favour of new cycle hire scheme

“I decided to ditch the car and try the new Coventry hire bikes that I’d spotted in the Memorial Park. It was very easy to download the app and there were very clear instructions on how to unlock the bike.

“After a bit of saddle adjustment I was off. I cycled into the city centre, which is mainly on cycle paths and the bike felt very sturdy so it felt really safe and easy. In fact I enjoyed myself so much I decided to have a pedal around the sights rather than just hopping straight off at the shops.

“Lots of places to park the bike in town and the app reassuringly told me I’d finished my ride and secured the bike. Will definitely be using the hire bikes again. Easy to use, but also really good fun!”
